Design: This two handle instrument features two – 3-inch and one - 4-inch flat treatment surfaces. Wider than SASTM #1 - #6 instruments to allow for more evaluation and treatment pressure, yet still produces 2 ninety-degree edges per treatment surface.
Use: This instrument covers more surface area to evaluate and treat large muscle groups and large framed patients and athletes. Ideal for low back. Note: This instrument can be use single handed like SASTM #4, #5 and #6 instruments.
SASTM Instrument Comparison: SASTM #8 instrument produces more treatment pressure than the SASTM #4 instrument due to the double handle.
