At SASTM we aim to educate clinicians in the safe and effective practice of sound assisted soft tissue mobilization by teaching clinicians to treat only the fibrotic patterns while leaving healthy tissue alone.
SASTM works to promote healing and management of musculoskeletal disorders through improving soft tissue healing and expediting your return to a full and functional life.
Less Damage. More Healing. The Advantage of Sound.
Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM), utilizes a proprietary blend to make tools that allow clinicians to feel and differentiate scarred tissue from healthy tissue through vibrations in the instrument. By preserving healthy tissue using SASTM instruments you can help your patients achieve better outcomes. Focusing more on soft tissue, my method revolves around resetting muscles, reestablishing fascia mobility, & reinforcing core foundations. Using metal tools in the past I rarely utilized IASTM. I found it to be a little extreme & painful for my patients. Since being introduced & certified in SASTM, every patient receives some measure of this technique in their treatment plan. The ceramic non beveled edges of these tools allow for audible & palpable identification of fascial adhesions resulting in a quicker & less painful/damaging treatment. It has been my experience that performing SASTM before any other manual techniques leads to an increase in patient recovery time. It would be malpractice to go back to metal tools!

SASTM is my #1 choice for resolving chronic soft tissue adhesions that occur in upper extremity injuries such as lateral epicondylitis or RSI. My clients feel the improvement of symptoms within one to two visits and ask for more SASTM.

This method is for the therapist that believes in a "hands on" approach for treatment of orthopedic and sports injuries. If you want your patients back on the 'playing field' these manual tools will accelerate that goal.

I have used SASTM on all of my soft-tissue injuries. The results are far more superior than any manual technique that I have ever utilized. These instruments are essential for rehab of all athletes with muscular, tendinous and ligamentus injuries.

I attended the basic and advanced seminars and compared products and services. After thousands of treatments, I am convinced and impressed by the results. I achieved better and faster improvements with the SASTM ceramic tools. The combination of the instruments and instruction by SASTM of the method made me a convert. I am now a SASTM instructor.
